Lights Up Musical Theatre
Sing Dance Act Shine! At Lights Up Afterschool, your child can experience the joys and benefits of musical theatre by taking part in our afterschool programs led by our talented and experienced Lights Up Musical Theatre Schools staff. These classes are a unique introduction to our weekend musical theatre programs and provide students with an enriching, rewarding, and most of all, fun afterschool activity right at the bell!
FALL SHOW! SCOOBY DOO!
Scooby Doo, Where are You?! This Fall, we will be putting on a musical specially written for our afterschool students based on the “Scooby Doo” cartoons and series. Join the Mystery Inc. Gang and solve the mystery of the spooky theme park with us!
Students will be supervised from dismissal. No need to pick up your child until 5.15pm! Performance on the last day of classes for parents!

VEMS Extracurricular Choir
Students will learn healthy vocal production and musicianship while exploring diverse repertoire.
At every rehearsal there is a professional pianist to encourage tuning and experience live music making.
Regular attendance is strongly recommended as new songs are regularly introduced. The music has been carefully chosen with the children’s vocal health and abilities in mind.

WIZE Computing Academy
At Wize Computing Academy, we offer an exciting and comprehensive curriculum that focuses on engineering and robotics for kids. Through our engaging courses, your child will dive into the fascinating world of technology, exploring concepts such as mechanical engineering, electronics, and programming. Begin with hands on building with Lego Spike Prime. Program new bots every week. Debug real-time bots applying the concepts learnt in class and then transition into the world of electrical engineering & robotics with Lego Spike Prime.

Neighborhood Art Studios
Neighborhood Art Studios
Neighborhood Art Studios is offering hands on Art Classes at Queen Mary. Eight weeks of learning, creating and experiencing ART! These Art Classes will spark the creativity and Imagination of students with fun Art Projects. The set of eight sessions will introduce them to many new mediums, tools and techniques.
Students will learn how to draw from our illustrated step by step instruction starting from drawing animals from simple shapes, adding details and shading in different mediums such as Graphite, Oil pastels and Pencil crayons. PAINTING gives an amazing opportunity for children to express their perception, feelings and interests. Students will be introduced to new techniques in Acrylic Painting on canvas, learning how to mix and blend different colours, creating special effects and texture. They will be bringing paintings home done in Acrylics and Watercolours.

Young Rembrandts
A new session of Young Rembrandts art classes for kids at Queen Mary is starting soon!
Your child will laugh and learn while drawing our fun Superhero Expressions lesson in the month of January. In February, our students will jump for joy and spring into action with our Unlikely Heroes lesson. Then there’s no better way to prepare for spring than with our Bird vs. Worm drawing sequence. Sign up your child to have fun, be challenged artistically, and create amazing pieces of artwork.
Young Rembrandts teaches basic to intermediate drawing skills and provides all materials, top-quality instructors, and curriculum for weekly drawing classes.

Professor Puffin’s Challenge Club
Professor Puffin's Challenge Club is an afterschool enrichment program that offers a fun, educational, and engaging experience for children. The program uses a variety of activities to review subjects covered in the BC school curriculum (Science, art, nature, English, etc.) while mixing in entertaining topics to spark children's interest.
The program aims to develop teamwork, problem-solving skills, and focus, as well as expand vocabulary and increase confidence. We offer a play-based approach that encourages exploration and collaboration with peers. Activities are adapted to grade levels to ensure everyone's active participation.
